Job Description:
As a Senior Analyst Strategic Pricing, you will be a critical partner in the Strategic Revenue Management journey and take a lead role in developing and executing the Pricing and Promotion pillars. You will lead the development of pricing and promotional strategies and tactics, monitor implementation, and evaluate performance regularly.

Job Responsibilities:
- Leverage internal operational and external consumption data to create analyses, reports, and results-oriented feedback for key products and product categories
- Provide analytical support to Brand Marketing and Pricing Management teams regarding pricing guidelines for products by brand and region; communicate with Field Sales on specific pricing and promotions decisions
- Monitor quality of promotion and ensure appropriate ROI
- Monitor display and promotional pricing compliance; utilize account promotional levers to maximize performance and effectiveness of trade spend
- Complete accurate, thorough, and timely post-promotional and root cause analysis using varied data sources; leverage analysis to improve promotional planning for future activities
- Assist with building financial targets and drive collaborative discussion on those targets
- Develop pricing recommendations for proposed prices and overall impact based on analysis of product volume, margin, and competitiveness; present recommendations to Pricing
- Management and key cross-functional partners
- Evaluate promotion effectiveness from both a sales/lift perspective and trade cost/ROI perspective
- Evaluate the effects of competitive trade promotions and build competitive promotional indices at an account level
Job Requirements:
- Experience working with external consumption data (IRI or Nielsen) and internal financial data
- 3+ years of relevant work experience and increasing scope and responsibility in Pricing, Finance, Sales, or Analytics
- Proficiency in BI/visualization software, i.e., Power BI, Tableau; strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- An understanding of pricing concepts (elasticity, sensitivities, thresholds) and how pricing & promotion can impact commercial P&L statements
- Knowledge of the consumer-packaged goods industry
- Bachelor’s degree, in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or related discipline
- Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and assist in decision-making through data storytelling
- Organized with excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy
- Strong oral and written communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a broader team; strong ability to work across functions and divisions to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
