Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a WFA Divisional Lending Manager in Wealth and Investment Management to lead a team that is responsible for supporting Financial Advisors (FAs) and field leadership through analysis and advice of Wells Fargo lending and banking products and services.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage and influence key stakeholders, internal partners, and peers associated with the functional area or who are affected by its outcomes
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Brokerage Lending Consulting
  • Determine appropriate strategy and actions of team to meet moderate to high risk deliverables
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategies
  • Ensure team is executing on activity expectations and delivering results
  • Be responsible for business development around key products and services that include securities backed lending, residential real estate, High Net Worth lending, business banking, commercial lending, practice management, client acquisition and productivity tools
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including more experienced managers, as well as interact directly with external customers
  • Manage and develop a team of individual contributors

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge and understanding of financial planning: tools and advisory services
  • Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial services consumer/business lending products
  • Series 63 (or 66)
  • 4+ years of brokerage industry experience
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Ability to create and deliver dynamic presentations
  • Experience training and coaching customer-facing team members
  • 4+ years of business development experience
  • 4+ years of Brokerage Lending Consulting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Experience partnering with full-service financial advisors and branch managers on products and service solutions
