Job Description:
The Asset Protection Investigator is responsible for preventing and improving shrink across multiple stores by conducting thorough external investigations and supporting internal awareness programs. The Asset Protection Investigator is responsible for performing all responsibilities in a safe manner consistent with company values and policies and applicable federal and state laws.

- Co-lead external investigations with partnership of supervisor and market investigators
- Review data reporting to identify external patterns across multiple stores
- Participate in the inventory process as directed by supervisor to support minimizing inventory losses and achievement of shrink goals
- Provide external training and awareness to store leadership and associates
- Support development of other APIs through zone API calls and mentorship, including sharing experiences and AP expertise to support peer development.
- Prepare and present cases to law enforcement using external portfolio and external profile, per company guidelines-
- Utilize EKL across multiple stores to support larger case building
- Train and onboard newly hired APIs, as directed
Job Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Travel may be required
- Minimum 3 years of asset protection investigative experience preferred.
- Effective communications skills, written and verbal.
- Effective organization and follow up skills
