Job Description:

The Assistant Graphic / Surface Designer will work with the Senior Graphic Designer on product branding, packaging, and product graphics across all categories.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create seasonal graphics and icons from concept to execution for all categories and special product launches.
• Use seasonal color palettes in graphic concepts to effectively provide color direction for cross functional partners.
• Supports the Senior Graphic Designer in the creation of brand-right, commercial designs that reflect the conceptual direction/business strategy.
• Assist Print team with creating seasonal assets for prints and patterns.
• Understand the Pink visual DNA and use of graphic assets as it relates to products, branding, and packaging.
• Maintain organization of seasonal branding requests and libraries utilizing tools such as InDesign, Smartsheet, and file servers.
• Research and develop elevated graphic and surface techniques to push innovation.
• Work with cross-functional teams to create branded labels, hangtags, trims, elastics, and hardware across all categories of apparel, intimates, sleep, and accessories.
• Create and edit presentations for seasonal concepts, branding, and special projects.
• Local shopping trips and campus visits.
• Partner with Surface, Print, and CAD teams to archive graphics for production.

Job Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail with typographic layouts and file naming/organization.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe CC programs for Mac OS including Illustrator, InDesign, & Photoshop.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Minimum 1 – 3 years graphic design experience in a related field
• Knowledge of the Pink brand and customer.
• Illustration skills are a plus.
• Previous packaging and apparel graphics experience is a plus.
• BFA in Graphic Design or relevant experience with a proven history of commercially successful graphics
• Strong verbal and digital communication skills.
