Job Description:
Manages and develops the framework and processes for the organization’s cybersecurity landscape and protection needs, to define security requirements and the design of enterprise and system-level security architecture.

- Manages the strategies for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and frameworks, allocating security services, and selecting security mechanisms to identify elements, and allocate security functions.
- Oversees architecture activities (system lifecycle support plans, concept of operations, operational procedures.) are properly documented and updated as necessary.
- Identifies and prioritizes critical business functions in collaboration with organizational stakeholders.
- Determines all information protection and privacy needs that support the organization by engaging with stakeholders to capture information protection policies.
- Provides detailed evaluation of how to securely incorporate new technologies into the customer’s IT capabilities.
- Provides expertise and direction relative to processes, projects, issues and initiatives regarding security architecture and a continuous flow of information to management, advising of cyber trends and benchmarking security posture against the enterprise.
- Designs, integrates, and deploys architectures for security in enterprise networks, collaboratively works across the organization with external parties to remediate security gaps, and develop security risk management plans.
- Collaborates and partners with IT and internal stakeholders to conceptualize and develop the architecture, system interactions/interfaces, and logical services, to develop the business requirements related to cyber security.
- Oversees the planning and development of critical projects by enhancing defense-in-depth security architecture strategies.
- Ensures the security architecture aligns and integrates with the enterprise and the protection of information and IT assets across multiple operational service and standards. Provides input to the Risk Management Framework process activities system security architecture.
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to supervise the work performance of staff, which includes scheduling and time and attendance functions, evaluating performance against goals, providing technical guidance and feedback, building effective work relationships, and establishing individual development plans.
- Knowledge of network design processes, to include understanding of security objectives, operational objectives, and tradeoffs.
- Ability to develop risk-driven methodologies, including steps and methods for assessing risk.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing with vendors, consultants, professional associations, and representatives of other companies and governmental agencies.
- Knowledge of IT architectural concepts and frameworks.
- Ability to oversee and coordinate strategies, standards, and procedures for a specific business unit’s architecture, ensuring adherence to the enterprise-wide architecture.
- Ability to analyze, and evaluate existing and proposed business systems and procedures, develop requirements, and identifying system solutions that achieve optimum performance and cost effectiveness.
