Job Description: A Senior Manager is required, reporting to the Director at the Centre for Academic Technologies (CAT), to provide high-level co-ordination and oversight of the implementation of online teaching and learning. [the_ad id="29344"] Job Responsibilities: Find synergies and foster collaboration across support divisions and the faculties with relevance to CAT activities Be up to date with the scholarship of teaching, learning and design in the higher education context Plan and co-ordinate projects on teaching and learning supported by educational technologies Lead a teaching and learning support team on the training and advising to all internal stakeholders Analyse and report on large and diverse data sets related to teaching and learning Identify trends, conceptualise opportunities, and find solutions to challenges in varied teaching and learning contexts Job Requirements: Experience in working with one or more statistical packages. Self-starter with strong self-management skills. Skills in using data visualisation tool/s. Excellent written, oral and electronic communication skills, and proven ability to write high level proposals and reports; A Doctoral degree; Evidence of leading diverse teams in the implementation of innovative learning technologies. Experience on the use of large data sets within a higher education context; and A conceptual understanding of online teaching and learning, familiarity with current literature, and having a growth mindset; Understanding of contemporary educational learning theories.
