Assist with menu planning, menu costings and co-ordinate with banqueting and Food and Beverage departments. Manage, train and lead staff

- Provide training to chefs to encourage versatility and creativity
- In charge of production, oversee and monitor the quality of food and presentation
- Oversee hygiene standards in the kitchen. Responsible for hygiene control
- Ensure quality food is presented, within the budget
- Manage, train and lead staff
- Oversee & prepare meals. Supervising staff in kitchen, with preparation of meals
- Ensure daily costings & controls are in place & working
Job Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Culinary Studies and upmarket Cooking skills with 5 years previous experience
- Computer literate essential
- Must have drivers’ licence, own transport
- Client/customer relationships/management skills
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in varied kitchen positions including food preparation, line cook, fry cook and expediter.
