Job Description:
Consult and work closely with stakeholders and SMEs to determine course objectives, collect any additional material from them, which can include but not limited to links to other online sites (in case of e-learning)

- Focus on safety and health as well as operational excellence.
- Align to international responsible mining principles.
- Map out interactions and activities (lessons and topics) into a storyboard to ensure the lesson objectives are met in the most engaging and interactive manner – this includes correct navigation, media and graphics included.
- Work with a team of designers and provide technical guidance with designing and developing digital solutions using a combination and range of company approved media delivery tools.
- Sourcing, contracting, and negotiating with service providers.
- Actively support and meaningfully participate in the execution of the segment specific organisational development plan. This support will manifest in the targeted shift in culture as described by a valid culture assessment.
- Provide coaching and on-the-job training to reporting staff.
- Create learning objects (supporting tools) and resource kits for both facilitator-led and facilitated e-learning interactions (relevant presentations, facilitator guides and participant guides where applicable).
- Create and package online learning nuggets and courses for e-learning and other applications to support just-in-time self- paced learning – this includes videos, links to other job aids, etc.
Job Requirements:
- Have knowledge of learning management systems.
- Have NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate for Adults)
- Knowledge of SCORM standards, (communication between client-side content and host system).
- Have intermediate to advanced working knowledge of graphic and video editing software/tools.
- Have NQF 5 (Higher Certificate) or minimum 3 years’ experience in a content and material development, with solid experience on e-learning courseware development or related role.
- Have intermediate to advanced working knowledge of rapid authoring/development tools (preferably but not limited to Articulate Storyline).
- Familiarity with the process of online learning and development methodology.
- Have a solid experience and understanding of setting up assessments (both formative and summative) and evaluations processes.
- Have experience in the Designing and Developing of Training Material.
- Have at least 3 years’ experience in a related role, of which 2 years should have been at a supervisory level or experience in a functional/specialist area.
