Job Description: Are you looking to get into the Shipyard industry? Serco is looking for Shipyard Laborers to join a high-profile and challenging project supporting the US Navy. Shipyard Laborers will be on a dynamic team, supporting our C5ISR system installations. [the_ad id="29344"] Job Responsibilities: Works under immediate supervision. Performs general manual labor including loading, unloading, lifting and moving supplies and materials. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Must perform duties as a fire watch and welder`s helper as well as install electric cable when needed. Job Requirements: Applicant must be willing to work second shift and willing to work more than 40 hour work weeks. Willing to travel if needed. This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Serco to staff it only with U.S. Citizens, be able to obtain gain access to shipyards (NAVSTA & DBIDS), undergo a background investigation and pass a drug screening.
