Job Description: The FSET program provides systems engineering and technical support for the rapid introduction of new capabilities into the Fleet through fleet experimentation and operational fleet exercises in-port and underway. [the_ad id="29344"] Job Responsibilities: Demonstrate and use advanced knowledge and application with Microsoft Office applications (Access, Excel, Power Point, Project, Word) Develop formal presentations and delivery to a wide variety of audiences both military and civilian. Assist in the development and/or application of commercial analytics tools for use with government sponsored knowledge discovery in databases initiatives (KDD). Use advanced statistics and machine learning algorithms to analyze data for insights and predictions. Identify opportunities to deploy predictive analytics Identify and interpret trends and patterns in large and varied datasets. Act as the Predictive Analytics Specialist for the FSET providing practical application of mass data mining, data warehousing, predictive and statistical modeling, and data visualization. Help solve complex data questions. Job Requirements: Strong interpersonal skills – able to interact with key stakeholders and engineers to interpret requirements and create models and present solutions. Five (5) years of relevant experience with data mining, data warehousing, predictive or statistical modeling, and data visualization. Candidate should have a strong drive and proven track record of capturing, storing, and presenting data in innovative and creative ways to present to leadership. A Bachelor ‘s Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or Data Analytics or equivalent experience. Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Office applications Eligibility for Interim Secret clearance.
