Job Description:

The Supervisor Production role is responsible for ensuring employee safety, product quality, and asset performance while delivering the shift/line/area production plan on time. This is accomplished by leading a team through areas such as the hiring process, employee onboarding, and performance management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ongoing coaching of employees to fulfill and exceed the requirements of the job through a continuous improvement approach.
• Daily review of achievement of targets and report variances during on-the-floor and review meetings.
• Ensure the development and implementation of action plans to address root causes of failures and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate seamless handoffs and communicate key information to peers, team members and Production Management
• Ensure quality objectives are met, including regular adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), the performance of sanitation audits, food safety checks, and product quality checks are conducted according to policies. Actively participate in the prevention and correction of quality-related errors. Check and enforce personnel hygiene & safety, e.g., protective clothing (uniform), shoe change & hand wash.
• Ensure a safe work environment is maintained at all times and that all positions have updated work instructions available. Processes are run in accordance with SOP’s, SSOP’s, and other documentation. Activities being performed having an environmental impact are communicated and accomplished according to environmental management standards.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree AND 1 year of leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Shift Hours: 6P-6A in a 2-2-3 shift pattern
• OR 2 years in a leadership role in the United States Military
• OR 3+ years of supervisory/management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Willing to work in a factory where ambient conditions may be extremely cold, wet or warm
