Job Description: To plan, develop, build, implement client-specific cloud infrastructure services and technology solutions aligned to the standard operating procedures. To act as a second line technical engineering support for the MTN Technology B2B Centre of Excellence (CoE) to enable the resolution of complex critical client problems. [the_ad id="29344"] Job Responsibilities: Identify opportunities for improvement, optimise performance and scalability of existing cloud solutions. Lead the administration, monitoring and management of systems in assigned cloud domains, and ensure the cloud infrastructure is secure, robust, and scalable. Apply best practice, and continuous improvement and innovation at process and procedure level. Generate project support documentation, including procedural documents for implemented systems. Review and validate understanding of customer requirements and translate initial scope into technical requirements and implement multi-Cloud solutions and service offerings at customer sites. Conduct root cause analysis and perform troubleshooting, incident and error handling on escalated queries, and implement remediation to improve the cloud solution functionality, performance and security. Propose and implement cloud infrastructure transformation and automation based on customer requirements. Lead the design, planning, management, maintenance, advanced support, and any other technological duties associated with MTN cloud SaaS and IaaS solutions. Analyse, optimise, migrate and transform the client legacy IT infrastructure environment into cloud ready and cloud native solutions, and provide advanced operations support, including managing level two and level three incident and problem management. Job Requirements: A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in an ICT environment within the Telecoms sector, with at least 3 years specialisation experience in supporting and troubleshooting enterprise level cloud solutions. An MBA or post graduate degree is advantageous. Related industry certifications in cloud solutions (AWS, Microsoft, Azure, etc.). Worked across diverse cultures and geographies. Minimum of 3-year tertiary degree in Computer Science. Experience working in a global/multinational enterprise (understanding emerging markets is advantageous).
