Job Description:
As part of the Business Unit Finance team, the Financial Analyst will be part of the of the Base Business Finance Team. They will provide accurate financial reporting as well as timely and meaningful analyses to influence business decisions.

- Assist in the preparation of quarterly sales and expense calls and explain variances
- Lead monthly rebate review meetings to proactively identify areas of potential over/ under accruals and understand variance drivers (actual vs. budget)
- Ensure financial integrity and policy compliance through business partner training and embracing internal controls
- Ensure appropriate accounting of Gross to Net Expense items (special focus on Month End and Quarter End). Responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing relevant balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure that the principles and elements of the J&J Credo, business policies, Healthcare Compliance, Regulatory, GAAP, and Sarbanes Oxley are adhered to in all aspects of the role.
- Active participation in the development of the Business Plan, Budget Updates and Latest Thinking
- Finance business partnering on select processes and brand teams
Job Requirements:
- Able to present complex information clearly and concisely to internal clients of all levels (written/verbal)
- University degree, preferably with a major in Accounting, Economics or Finance
- Strong problem solving skills
- A minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience.
- Strong planning and organizing abilities
- Resourceful and independent, thrives in a changing, and challenging environment
- PC skills, especially Excel. SAP experience an asset.
