Job Responsibilities:

  • Helping to drive change for the bank’s global businesses and functions, for the benefit of HSBC and our customers
  • Simplifying the way we run HSBC, introducing automation to reduce workload and costs and improve the experience of customers
  • Running operations for our Commercial Banking business and supporting our Global Banking and Markets businesses to serve customers across their global networks
  • Managing the day-to-day transactions of the Wealth and Personal banking business
  • Keep abreast of latest technology / best practices in banking industry and proactively explore opportunities with stakeholders to transform current processes/ models with goals of experience, efficiency, revenue or cost improvement
  • Partner with senior stakeholders in lines of businesses and functions to formulate and translate the Bank’s strategy into initiatives and requirements for implementation
  • Drive the delivery of strategic agenda of the bank, as well as the department, including leading innovation and fintech adoption.

Job Requirements:

  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English
  • Knowledge in design thinking, agile approach and Fintech will be an asset
  • Good track record managing complex and large scale programmes/ projects
  • Business consultancy experience, preferably gained from professional business consultancy firm
  • An innovative and strategic mindset with strong managerial, project management, communication, presentation, and analytical skills
  • Broad knowledge of banking business and operations will be an advantage
  • Self-driven approach, extensive experience in encouraging and maintaining best practice solutions and tools to improve / optimize work flow, seeing opportunities for synergy and integration, simplify complex processes and maximize own productivity
  • Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience in project management, preferably in financial institution
