Job Description:
The role holder is responsible for the completion of Sanctions investigation activities within the Regional Sanctions Alert Adjudications team. The successful candidate will investigate Level 3 Sanctions alerts for Customer, Transactions or Trade activity.

- Effectively support the Sanctions Management team in the achievement of their responsibilities
- Fulfilling and executing required Regional level alert adjudication
- Following Global Standards on the decision making of False Positives and Potential True Matches that have been escalated to Level 3
- Providing subject matter expertise to the implementation of globally led Sanctions change initiatives within Region and more specifically within Sanctions Centre of Excellence Level 3
Job Requirements:
- Experience of Global Trade instruments (preferred but non-mandatory)
- Risk professional with experience in one or more risk compliance roles, to include Sanctions experience
- Knowledge of banking products and services
- Lateral thinker and decision maker, with an ability to interpret and solve complex issues
- Knowledge of Sanctions regulations / guidance and their application to Sanctions alert adjudication
- Experience within the financial services industry
- Knowledge of SWIFT messages (preferred but non-mandatory)
- Excellent communicator with strong inter-personal and influencing skills
