Job Description: In this position, you will be working independently or on a team to support the creation of physical models and functional prototypes. You may also act as a Project Leader for an assigned project with supervision. Your responsibilities will include the full range of new product development. Interfaces with multiple teams through all phases of development. Seeks process improvement and suggests design concepts to support development/quality initiatives. Conducts problem solving to determine/propose a variety of design solutions. Summarizes and presents project status/updates as needed. Applies skill set knowledge to produce expert level work related to their field of expertise. Areas include Schedule Creation, 3D data creation, 2D/3D Engineering, Electrical Engineering, CNC milling, Additive Manufacturing, Metal Fabrication, Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic, Woodworking, Hand Fabrication, Class A surfacing, Automotive finishing and re-finishing, and Assembly. Participates in team meetings to collect feedback, insight, and direction from technical experts to incrementally develop and refine the project. Job Requirements: 4-7 years of related work experience Ability to visualize 3D concepts and assemblies. Ability to grasp and define inputs towards overall project scope Ability to express complex design concepts related to manufacturing and engineering Ability to communicate effectively with others. Ability to read and interpret design drawings and concept/styling data Expert ability in Time Management to understand scenarios regarding schedules and workload, making basic decisions making based on scenarios and experience in a fast-paced environment.
