Job Description:
At the Design Engineer I Level, you are expected to oversee application of EA1s responsible parts to a full model development project with the assistance of more Senior Engineers.

- Evaluate feasibility, cost/maintenance requirements of designs and/or applications.
- Produce 3D designs and 2D layouts of automotive electrical components from initial concept through mass production, with the oversight of more Senior Engineers. Components may include vision systems and radar for automotive driving, sensors for safety systems and related hardware.
- Writing and presenting technical reports
- Thorough understanding of current design guides and propose new design guides to Technical Management, as necessary
- Manage development projects/schedules, coordinate with corollary departments/suppliers and research new technologies and market trends
Job Requirements:
- Solid quantitative/analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Effective communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
- Catia, EAZ, Leading people
- Ability to cultivate and manage relationships of varying levels in/out of the organization, including supplier
- Experience in coordination of activities in a deadline- oriented engineering environment together with other members of similar experience and authority through collaboration is expected.
- Ability to acclimate to new environments, negotiate through unknowns and meet new people
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Acute attention to detail
- Ability to manage time effectively and productively
- Strong collaboration skill(s)
