Job Description:
Hobby Lobby is searching for a talented, innovative, and driven BI Analyst / Developer with a minimum 5-7 years of experience leading Business Intelligence design and development projects. This position is in Oklahoma City.

- Assists leadership with advocating for, and maturing the BI program using the latest methodologies as well as classic data warehouse and operational data store design patterns
- Works directly with business leaders to understand the business needs, critical path, and timeline to meet project goals
- Communicates/interacts with business partners up to the VP level
- Leads design and code reviews of BI solutions
- Supports production reporting and data warehouse environments including shared after-hours rotation
- Collaborates with development team, project managers, and business analysts to determine requirements and develop solutions to meet business goals
- Develops business intelligence solutions to fulfill short- and long-term priorities with solutions ranging from traditional, to more modern, interactive reporting tools
- Leverages an analytic mindset to develop visualization of key trends and insights for decision making
- Develops relational and dimensional data models to support reporting and analytics (SQL Server BI Platform)
Job Requirements:
- Understanding of data quality management techniques
- Must have the ability to manage concurrent projects at different stages of completion
- Experience developing reports utilizing Power BI and SSRS
- Ability to lead Business Intelligence projects from concept to realization
- Expert SQL development skills including, but not limited to, table design, queries, table-valued functions, window functions, and index optimization
- Must be a motivated self-starter who can work independently and seeks out opportunities to work collaboratively with others
- Experience developing data integration processes utilizing SSIS
- Ability to mentor junior and intermediate business intelligence
- Experience designing operational data stores, data lakes, and data warehouses
- Strong understanding of data architecture and design principles with data modeling experience in 3NF and star schema methodologies
- Must have experience working directly with senior business leaders to understand objectives and articulating the impact of business intelligence solutions
