Job Description:

Capture and update expenditure in component. Check correctness of subsistence and travel claims of officials and submit to manager for approval. Handle telephone accounts and petty cash for the component.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with recruitment and selection (advertisements, appointments, transfer, verification of qualifications, secretariat functions at interviews, absorptions, probationary periods).
  • Implement conditions of services (leave, housing, medical, injury on duty, long service recognition, overtime, relocation, pension, allowances, PILIR etc.).
  • Assist with performance management process.
  • Assist with the termination of service process.
  • Address human resource administration enquiries

Job Requirements:

  • A Grade 12 Certificate. Administration exposure preferable in Human Resources Administration will be and added advantage.
  • Knowledge of clerical duties, practices as well as the ability to capture data electronically, effectively operate computer and collect statistics and store it safely.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the legislative framework governing the Public Service.
  • Knowledge of working procedures in terms of the working environment.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Data capturing, both written and electronically.
  • Communication. Analytical.
  • Report writing. Planning and Organising skills.
  • Reliable. Credible. Responsible. Team player. Pro-active.
