Job Description:

Planning and organizing the Environment, Health & safety (EH&S) strategies for the Operations, Distribution. Responsibility for managing the company’s environmental plan and managing and facilitating EH&S training programs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Planning and organizing the Environment, Health & Safety strategies for the Operations of the company
• Motivating the organization in fostering an Internal Responsibility System.
• Championing EHS Teams – JHSC, Waste Minimization, Ergonomics, etc.
• Maintaining current working knowledge of all applicable legislation and regulations for EH&S.
• Coordinate all ISO 1400 activities to maintain certification.
• Maintaining EH&S statistical reporting for Estee Lauder Corporate.
• Consolidating the completion of recommendations made by Estee Lauder Company Environment Affairs and Safety (EAS) Department and insurance companies.
• Overseeing and monitoring recordkeeping for statistical measures and controls.
• Managing Health and Safety
• Directing the JH&S Committee in achieving their goal of excellence and maintaining their role as champions of the Company H&S Program (e.g. monthly inspections).
• Managing the Company’s environmental management system
• Planning to minimize the likelihood of environment mishap
• Directing the efforts of all staff towards the goal of a healthy staff work environment with lower injury frequency and severity ratings.
• Manage the EH&S staff in becoming an efficient, effective team.
• Managing and expanding company-wide recycling and waste reduction programs

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Education University degree
• Minimum Experience Min 7 Years Related Experience
• Skills/Specific experience required Excellent communication, coaching, presentation and interpersonal skills. Computer skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• License/Certification/Specific degree required CRSP Preferred or in progress
