Job Description:

Job holder is a revenue generator and is responsible for client coverage for PB clients in SIN-PB, tasked to deliver SIN-PB This is also an important role from a financial crime risk management perspective. The job holder is expected to manage all aspects of the client relationship most notably the financial crime risk in the portfolio.

Job Responsibilities:

• Constantly explore Investment opportunities with the client according to his / her Risk appetite
• Coach the teams’ Junior Relationship Manager and Assistant Banker
• Accountable for client due diligence on client relationships and manage all aspects of financial crime risk in line with the Bank’s compliance policies such as Anti Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions etc.
• Actively introduce clients and prospects to Senior team members and seek guidance and support in terms of relationship management and products to develop them
• Promote a culture of Teamwork within the Unit by actively supporting junior team members
• Liaise with the Private Banking Investments Team to deliver effective banking solutions tailored to the clients’ requirements
• Gain knowledge of the most important clients and prospects of coached Junior RM and support her development
• Maintain and grow own existing client relationships
• Work closely with key client relationships and other units within the Bank on the origination of direct investment opportunities
• Regularly conduct quarterly account reviews in liaison with the allocated Investment Advisor (for accounts above a certain balance threshold) and extend Investment Proposals as result of the review
• Identify potential prospects and develop them to become clients of the bank
• Establish and develop strong partnerships throughout the entire Private Bank and other ENBD business lines, including close collaboration with the Corporate Banking, Retail Banking,
• Investment Banking and Asset Management

Job Requirements:

• General understanding of legal structures (Offshore, Trusts)
• CFA or equivalent financial services qualifications
• Full understanding of Compliance, Due Diligence and Anti-Money Laundering Acts as well as standard banking procedures
• 4 years of experience in Middle Eastern markets
• 10-15 years of relevant experience in Financial Services
• MBA in Finance or Bachelor’s degree
• Strong knowledge about the majority of all assets & liabilities products as well as capital markets, portfolio management and investment products
