Engage with stakeholders, both leadership and subject matter experts, to develop a holistic view of the CoE’s application development strategy and methodology

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform financial processes to ensure effective financial control and financial compliance
• Perform other operational processes to ensure the effective running of the section
• Plan, build and improve application integrations that will ensure a fast and efficient service delivery and smart and creative work methodology to business relating to Enterprise Systems Development
• Manage application and integration development to ensure that applications and integrations comply to business requirements and that it is developed on time and within the allocated budget
• Manage development requirements to ensure that application delivered by the division is in line with business requirements and of a high standard
• Input and advise on strategic capability and leadership to ensure that organisational demands are met in the short, medium and long term
• Design detailed solutions to ensure that the division delivers applications of the highest standard and to the specifications of business
• Ensure governance and risk management to identify and manage governance and risk expose liability and to enable the achievement of subject matter standards regarding governance, risk and compliance
• Build applications to assist business to perform optimally in their daily duties while using the applications

Job Requirements:

• 5 years’ experience in middleware (integration solutions), Java, .Net PHP and Oracle development platforms
• MFMA Certification will serve as an advantage
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Project management experience
• National Diploma in ICT or relevant equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification
• A valid driver’s license
