Ensure that regional rail, private bus operations, minibus and metered taxi operations are managed in an efficient and effective manner

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Public Transport Information system
• Oversee Public Transport Planning and monitor prioritization of Public Transport Infrastructure projects
• Oversee the preparation of monthly and annual budgets and financial reports and enforce financial controls and compliance
• Establish and maintain communication and liaison structures and activities related to the planning and operation of Public Transport functions.
• Oversee the formulation and implementation of policies and standards related to Public Transport Operations
• Attend all meetings related to Public Transport matters at all levels of government, consultants, community etc.

Job Requirements:

• 5 years’ experience in similar environment
• Valid driver’s license
• Degree in Transport Management
