Job Description:

Responsible for data-related tasks that include provisioning data storage services, ingesting streaming and batch data, transforming data, implementing security requirements, implementing data retention policies, identifying performance bottlenecks

Job Responsibilities:

• Should be hands on with data, eye for details and ability to leverage tools to profile data
• Ability to lead exploratory discussions with multi-cultural teams, work remotely, think strategically, ask the right questions and manage as a program
• Understanding of Azure components and efficiently using different components in a fit for purpose and cost-efficient way
• Knowledge of building data integrations with different systems like SAP, DMS, Nielsen will be a plus
• Should be able to establish governance process for data management and define data owner roles and responsibilities
• Will be responsible for requirement gathering, data governance and data catalogue maintenance
• Knowledge of building integrations using Azure Integration Services will be a plus

Job Requirements:

• Analytical thinking
• Knowledge of Power BI, DAX and Visualizations will be a plus
• Familiarity with FMCG operations, Sales and Distribution data is a plus
• Should be collaborative
• Knowledge of Nielsen databases is a plus
• Project Management Skills
• Proven Experience in implementing Data Acquisition strategies and data warehouses
• 8-10 experience in working in Analytics & Big Data
• Experience in working with Microsoft Azure Data Services like Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure
• Data Factory, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Azure Blob storage
