Job Description:
The Canadian Sales Director is responsible for the achievement of volume, distribution, shelving and merchandising objectives across all products categories and brands within Canada. Leading and managing the Sales and Trade Marketing organization, building selling skills and customer expertise

- Deliver SBU objectives by executing core growth innovation, maximizing base business and translate brand strategies into tactical plans. Drive superior AMPS execution and trade funds efficiency and effectiveness (delivering net revenue targets).
- Strategic Plan: Set the vision and plan (sales strategic roadmap) that enables the sales organization to deliver short- and long-term objectives including customer segmentation (and winning customer plans), execution of strategic projects, and broadening our insights and analytics capabilities
- Sales Capabilities: Drive the annual planning process (target development) including revenue reviews and ongoing monthly score carding (Volume/POS). Support the Sales Planning team through annual planning process, identifying key sales priorities, tools, information, analysis and trade spending targets and objectives. Continue to build Insights and Category
- Management leveraging shopper insights (perfect shelf and store), tools (score carding /dashboards), and building sales team acumen (training and development).
- Sales Objectives: Responsible for delivering sales volume and activities objectives (quarterly and yearly). Work cross-functionally to develop SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time-bound) objectives that support country strategic plan, brand strategies, and volume and profit expectations. Create systems to track, understand, and report to management sales progress and AMPS execution versus agreed to objectives.

- Sales and negotiation capabilities
- Demonstrated capability of effectively managing key Canadian retailers
- Strong bias for action and transformation
- Proven track record of delivering plans, generating demand creation, and NRM success
- Leading the sales function for an organization with mix of leading and non-leading brands in Canadian market
- 15+ years of experience in Consumer goods sales.
- Strong people leader with the ability to functionally create and execute on people plans
- Fluency in French and English (good to have)
