The role is execution focused with key requirements being the agreement of objectives and an activity plan for each account and then ensuring these are delivered in full using sales and cross functional resources to do so. To manage the ongoing development and growth of the Burt’s Bees business in the UK Grocery, Pharmacy and Department Stores Sectors and White Space opportunities. Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributor team & leverage international Clorox sales resources.
  • Effectively communicate major account and competitor activity to the cross functional team to ensure markets receive relevant support and timely product delivery.
  • Manage resources (Reduced Revenue & Sales Promotion budgets)
  • Be the first point of contact for nominated accounts both internally and externally
  • ROI reviews on major promotions/initiatives
  • Work closely with the trade marketing manager to develop and drive activity plans for nominated accounts
  • Ensure retailer processes, reports and forms are completed on time and understood by the cross functional team
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailer teams, leading a successful joint business plan to deliver the Burt’s Bees strategy
  • Responsible for achieving NCS budget and meeting forecast targets
  • Lead regular review and planning meetings with customers to promote Burt’s Bees and agree growth plans with market visits

Job Requirements:

  • Grocery experience
  • Education Level/Degree: Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills
  • Good Microsoft Office Package Knowledge, especially PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook
  • Able to work with little supervision
  • Drive to achieve challenging retail growth targets
  • Ability to work cross functionally with a wide group of people from all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to remain professional and efficient under demanding situations
  • Online experience with Bricks and Clicks
  • Experience in personal care products is desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in multinational organizations with values similar to Clorox
  • Brand Management experience
  • 5+ Experience of Key Account Management and Joint Business
  • Have an aptitude for organisation and administrative leadership
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills
