For manually rated business (no experience, all Presale) there is desire to improve specific calculations and workflow to enhance the functionality of iQuote and rating tools

- Design workable and efficient changes to the projection tool (iQuote) that improve methodology and meet the needs of Pricing Methodology, UW Enablement and other Pricing business areas
- The responsibilities of this role would be to research the moving pieces involved, recommend a solution and produce an Excel representation of the build, test the changes, and support the project until it gets released into production.
- Vet the designs, code and test the solutions in the Excel transaction engines, independently and with review by Methodology, prior to releasing to coding team
- Keep documentation up to date
- Understand the methodology and moving pieces in the projection tool
- Work within the Agile structure
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of actuarial experience preferred
- FSA designation preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to be proactive and effect change, influence, persuade, and collaborate with audiences at various levels of experience and responsibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Actuarial Science or related field strongly preferred
- Strong analytical skills and technical aptitude
