Job Description:
Reporting to the Claims Team Leader, the successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and timely process of all Dental and Medical claims received from providers/partners, clients and members.

- Adjudicate medical and dental claims in accordance with policy terms and conditions.
- Contribute to projects and business change when required.
- Carry out other adhoc tasks as required meeting business needs.
- Actively support other team members and provide resource to enable all team goals to be achieved.
- Monitor turn around times to ensure your claims are settled within required time scales.
- Identify potential process improvements and make recommendations.
- Monitor and highlight high cost claims and ensure relevant parties are aware.
- Ensure work is prioritised effectively.
- Achieve personal and team productivity and quality goals.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to organise, prioritise and manage workflow to meet individual and team requirements
- Confident in making decisions and exercise judgment where necessary
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in medical administration, claims environment or customer service focused organisation
- Ability to work under own initiative and proactive in recommending and implementing process improvements
- Strong interpersonal skills with good verbal and written communication to internal and external clients. This will incorporate call handling skills when required.
- Ability to meet/exceed targets and manage multiple priorities
- Strong customer focus with ability to identify and solve problems
- Must possess excellent attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy
- Preferred if English and Arithmetic qualification gained.
