Job Description:
Reporting to the Technical Lab Coordinator, the incumbent will sample, test, analyse and record results of the inputs and outputs of the mill processes on a routine and non-routine basis using good laboratory practices so as to provide accurate results for optimum functioning and compliance of the mill products and processes.

- Expected to perform non-routine analysis when needed
- Perform lab calibration routines as per schedule
- Input and graphing of results as per designed templates
- Communication of results, deviations , abnormalities and performs follow up analysis as required
- Primary purpose is to conduct analysis / measurements in strict accordance with established SPI’s and SOP’s
- Ensure good laboratory practices at all times
- Compliance to all SHEQ rules and regulations
- Maintain lab consumables inventory together with the Lab co-ordinator
- Perform standby and weekend duties
Job Requirements:
- National Diploma: Analytic Chemistry or Equivalent Tertiary Qualification
- At least 2 years working experience in a laboratory environment with exposure to analytical chemistry.
- Matric – Maths and Physical Science or as per RPE guidelines.
