Job Description:

To provide engineering support to the Continuing Airworthiness Maintenance Organization (CAMO) department of Airlink. Primarily, this shall focus on the correct definition, interpretation and implementation of engineering data into the CAMO department, using the TRAX eMRO system as the primary systems interface, as well as supporting the Engineering Supervisor and Continuing Airworthiness Manager with the management and oversight of aircraft modification projects/programs.

Job Requirements:

  • The minimum education requirement is a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 10 years post graduate experience in the field of aircraft engineering support, either directly with an aircraft operator or via OEM/manufacturer aftermarket support.
  • Must have sufficient technical knowledge, experience, and technical literacy to communicate in a productive capacity with AME’s, technical support representatives, component shop technicians and aircrew on engineering issues
  • In addition, the candidate shall have completed an apprenticeship as an aircraft mechanical technician, hold or have held an AME license with 10 years post qualification experience and have achieved Release type certification levels.
  • Minimum 10 years post AME experience in the field as an Aircraft mechanical technician.
  • Or alternatively hold a tertiary qualification as a Graduate BSC Engineer in either Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering with 10 years post-graduation experience in aviation maintenance industry required
