Job Responsibilities:

• Keep the client informed about progress through written communication, telephone communications and/or face to face meetings
• Build a positive image by exceeding client expectations at all times
• Comply with the procedures laid down within the Payments Department
• Communicate failed test results to the relevant stakeholders, and monitor the change via the change management process to retest as soon as the change is ready for retesting.
• Understanding of the roles of change management and business implementation
• A sound knowledge of databases / tables and systems
• Treat internal and external customers fairly at all times
• Present the test results to the Business Analyst/ Business Requestor for sign-off
• Identify what is required in order to test the specific change
• Create understanding of the ‘real’ versus ‘perceived’ need through experience and expertise while complying with company polices legislation and regulations
• Document the Test plan in order to achieve the following :
• Perform Regression testing on area of change to ensure current processes are still in place
• Determine the required time to complete the testing
• Perform testing, and document all results in the agreed templates
• Document the desired test outcomes
• Complete all testing jobs assigned in a timely manner and to a high standard
• Create and maintain productive relationships with internal and external clients by providing advice and assistance
• Obtain change requirements via specs, change requests, and Implementation plans

Job Requirements:

• Diploma / degree and software testing certification
• 2 years working experience related to banking / payments system testing
