Job Description:
Facilitate the Crop Advisor inter depot movement of stock. Initiation of Bulk Orders and stock allocations to Crop Advisors. Assist with all Crop Advisor, Depot and RSM queries relating to availability and pricing

- Manage and maintain product comments for logistics staff on .net system
- Liaise with Production staff to confirm and report on in-house product availability and distribution centre allocation
- Processing of product returns to suppliers
- Review of monthly macro plan requirements against monthly production
- Requests for new inventory codes
- Assist with Accounts Payable pricing queries
- Assist with quality control investigations for in-house products.
- Review and monitor aged stock with Depot Managers, RSM & stock controllers
- Approval of costing of stock transfers from Retail to Wholesale
- Non-core Supplier negotiations
- Updating of in-house and third party price lists
- Assist finance with stock revaluation balance sheet reconciliations
- Requests for stock revaluations
- Ensure timeous resolution of Crop Advisor complaints and relevant corrective action
- Monthly review of Supplier Consignment Stock levels and feedback.
- Review and update product master classifications
- Act as backup for National Commercial Manager and buyers
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of .NET advantageous.
- Must have a sound knowledge of the international market
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in distribution, production and warehousing
- A post-matric qualification in Procurement/ Supply Chain/ Inventory Management or related field
- Relating and networking
- Must be knowledgeable of all Acts, i.e. hazardous chemicals, road transportation, etc.
- Minimum education Grade 12
- Previous experience in stock management systems e.g. Syspro or SAP R3 is required
- Computer literate MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
