Job Description: Reporting to the Technical Lab Coordinator, the incumbent will sample, test, analyse and record results of the inputs and outputs of the mill processes on a routine and non-routine basis using good laboratory practices so as to provide accurate results for optimum functioning and compliance of the mill products and processes. [the_ad id="29344"] Job Responsibilities: Expected to perform non-routine analysis when needed Perform lab calibration routines as per schedule Input and graphing of results as per designed templates Communication of results, deviations , abnormalities and performs follow up analysis as required Primary purpose is to conduct analysis / measurements in strict accordance with established SPI’s and SOP’s Ensure good laboratory practices at all times Compliance to all SHEQ rules and regulations Maintain lab consumables inventory together with the Lab co-ordinator Perform standby and weekend duties Job Requirements: National Diploma: Analytic Chemistry or Equivalent Tertiary Qualification At least 2 years working experience in a laboratory environment with exposure to analytical chemistry.
